Hello there,
Picture
You’re not just booking flowers—you’re becoming part of a story.
At Hulst Homestead, we believe in the magic of a homegrown moment. Whether it's vegetables pulled straight from our soil, blooms gathered from our fields, or a bouquet carefully crafted just for you—we’re here to make things personal, intentional, and full of heart.

I’m Jess—designer, farmer, wife, mom of two, and the hands behind every bloom. I grew up in West Michigan and followed my curiosity across the country before finding my way back home with a deeper love for art, nature, and celebration. What started as a spark during an internship with Sincerely Ginger Weddings has turned into a lifelong love for event design and floral storytelling. Over the years, I’ve studied sculpture, design, and leadership—but it’s the real moments that have taught me the most.

Since 2015, I’ve had the joy of working with couples and families to create events that reflect not just their style, but their story. I approach every wedding with a sense of wonder—and with the belief that flowers are more than decoration. They hold memory. Meaning. Movement. They root your day in beauty that’s both fleeting and unforgettable.
When you work with me, you’re not just checking a box—you’re planting something. You’re supporting a local farm. You’re choosing to celebrate with intention. You’re saying yes to wild, joyful, imperfect beauty. And I’m so honored to be a part of that with you.
Let’s grab coffee, swap stories, and begin dreaming.

This is a family-run business in every sense of the word. My team includes some of the very best: Kingsley, Gideon, and my incredibly supportive husband, Ryan. When you book with me, you’re not just hiring a florist—you’re inviting our whole crew (big hands and small!) to help bring your day to life.
Thank you for supporting not just my small business—but our family. It means the world to us.
